The BIG Five
The big five in cricket mean that there are five people who ICC (International Cricket Council) think are the most classic players at the time. They are:
Virat Kohli (IND)
Babar Azam (PAK)
Joe Root (ENG)
Steve Smith (AUS)
Kane Williamson (NZ)
Virat Kohli is the former captain of the Indisn cricket team. He is well respected throughout the world. He captains the team Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the IPL (Indian Premier League). People say that he has the best extra cover drive.
Babar Azam is the Pakistani cricket team captain. He is criticised alot on his captaincy and whether he should play T20Is. Although all that he has stayed strong and he still plays. He captains the team Peshawar Zalmi in the PSL (Pakistan Super League). He and Virat Kohli are often compared to each other. Such people like me believe that he has the best cover drive ever.
Joe Root is the former England cricket team test captain. He is the 10th batsman to have reached 10,000 test runs. He is well respected. He has retired from T20Is and ODIs. He only plays Test matches now.
Steve Smith is the Aussie team vice captain across all formats. I feel he is a but overrated for when he plays he has less technique and just good hand eye coordination.
Kane Williamson is a batsman who os respected worldwide. It is unsure if he still captains or not for he has been injuired severely for a while now. He plays for New Zealand and may miss what might be his last ODI World Cup later this year in India.
